Gas Cooktops

Gas cooktops are preferred by avid cooks, as they usually have higher heat output and faster cooking time. Gas cooktops can either have open or sealed burners and are powered by either natural gas or liquid propane. These cooktops require a 120 volt electrical connection for the igniter and controls. Gas cooktops can come with different numbers of burners, as well as different configurations. Upgrades include continuous grates, low simmer burners and grills.

Electric Cooktops

Electric cooktops come in a variety of styles like smoothtop, coil or induction. Electric cooktops generally require a 208/240 volt electrical connection unless otherwise noted.

Induction Cooktops

Induction cooktops offer a distinctive, non-contact method of heating using magnetic fields to transfer energy directly to cookware. The induction element stays cool, while the target object heats up rapidly for extremely efficient cooking.
